About the artwork
In the center of the oil painting, a fish hovers over a parched landscape. The fish is made up of stones and rocks. The hull is made up of springs, lakes and small trees. This water landscape on the fish’s body – resembling an oasis – one would expect on earth. There, however, the water has disappeared. What remains is a lifeless wasteland. The painting has a custom-made model frame and is dated and signed on the front and back.
