About the artwork
The focus of the picture is the way and the time. The way across the gorge is symbolic of the individual way of life. Again the long way is lined with trees of the year and is only limited by birth and death. Man as a hiker, as a hiker on his life path, to his goal in life. After the danger of the interruption of the path over the gorge has been overcome, the path ultimately leads towards the autumn and winter of life. The painting has a custom-made model frame.
