About the artwork

In the center of the picture is a mysterious plant with a flower growing out of a glowing hole in the ground. The enigmatic mood of the picture is underlined by the dead trees around the hole and the broken trees in the background. The bright light on the horizon creates a hopeful mood throughout the picture. Two birds on the trees in the first row look in amazement at the blossom. The painting has a custom-made model frame with a passepartout. The painting is signed and dated on the front and back of the painting.
