About the artwork

In the center of the tondo is a group of seven leafless trees. In front of the largest tree, a fire comes out of the earth and the smoke rises. The mood of the picture is shaped by the sunrise behind the trees. The tondo is lined with other small and large trees without leaves. The painting has a custom-made model frame and is titled, dated and signed on the back.
