About the artwork
In the center of the oil painting is a large white rooster. The representation of the rooster, which is obviously observing the viewer from the corner of his eye, appears very large in relation to the bushes. The 3: 1 picture division (sky to earth) emphasizes the perspective, which in turn underlines the size of the rooster. The light blue background appears peaceful to the viewer. The painting has a custom-made model frame with gold leaf coating and is dated and signed on the front. It is titled, dated and signed on the back of the painting.
