About the artwork
In the centre of the oil painting is a tree without leaves. In the crown of the tree is a green fruit that has partially burst open. Inside the fruit are red fruits, which are taken out by a creature sitting on a branch. The tree trunk is partly hollowed out. Another being is looking out of this hollow. The landscape in which the tree is located looks fantastic with the creatures. The painting has a single model frame and is titled, dated and signed on the back.
