About the artwork
In a summer landscape there is a grasshopper in the center of the oil painting. This grasshopper has gathered a lot of red and some blue flowers between its forelegs. The title of the painting “Flower Robber” clearly shows that it is a robber. The grasshopper’s eye seems to exchange a look with the viewer of the painting – caught in the act. The painting has a custom-made model frame and is dated and signed on the front. At the same time, the painting is titled, dated and signed on the reverse.
