About the artwork
The oil painting is dominated by a large and bright type case. The individual boxes are stocked with summer vegetables. In the middle there is a larger window through which you can see a wide summer landscape. The vegetables (peppers, lemon, turnips, beetroot, fennel, tomatoes, aubergine, chicory, kohlrabi, potatoes, carrots, onions, radishes) are displayed in their realistic size. The oil painting has a custom-made model frame and is dated and signed on the front. The painting is titled, dated and signed on the reverse.
