About the artwork
In the center of the painting is a grotto. The viewer stands shortly before the exit. The view through the entrance of the grotto allows a view of the outside world. Around the exit he sees pairs of eyes that belong to different shapes. The viewer believes he recognizes bodies, profiles or beings and gets lost in the corners of the grotto. The world in front of the grotto seems friendly, but the trees that can be seen seem rather strange. The painting has a custom-made model frame and is dated and signed on the title and back.
